Past Workshop Events

Take a look at some of the joyful workshops I’ve hosted around Melbourne — from creative afternoons filled with painting and collage to hands-on events in local cafés, complete with tasty treats.

Each workshop is a celebration of community, creativity, and taking time out to make something with your hands.

Mindful Collage

Mindful Collage

Our mindful collage workshop was a calming, creative escape — a chance to slow down and reconnect through the simple joy of cutting, layering, and assembling images with intention. No experience was needed, just curiosity and a willingness to explore. Guests left feeling relaxed, inspired, and proud of the meaningful pieces they created.

Water Colour Painting

Water Colour Painting

To celebrate Mother’s Day, we hosted a special water painting workshop at Murrumbeena Pantry. Surrounded by the warm buzz of the café and local treats, guests created heartfelt artworks using soft washes of colour and expressive brushwork. It was a beautiful morning of creativity, connection, and thoughtful gift-making — the perfect way to honour the mums and mother-figures in our lives.

Paper Flower Making

Paper Flower Making

At Glen Eira Library, Bentleigh Youth Hub, I ran a joyful paper flower-making workshop that brought bursts of colour and creativity to the community. Using simple materials and easy techniques, participants crafted vibrant blooms to take home or gift to someone special. It was a relaxed and uplifting session filled with laughter, conversation, and the gentle rustle of paper petals coming to life.

Craft a Heart Aluminium Embossing

Craft a Heart Aluminium Embossing

At Murrumbeena Pantry, we hosted a beautiful ex-voto heart embossing workshop where participants created heartfelt keepsakes using aluminium foil. Inspired by traditional folk art, the session offered a chance to slow down, reflect, and craft something meaningful by hand. With local treats on offer and a cosy café atmosphere, it was a truly warm and creative community event.

Mindful Collage

Mindful Collage

This gentle, hands-on workshop hosted at Carnegie Library, invited participants to slow down, switch off, and reconnect with their creativity through collage.

The workshop focused on the mindful, meditative process of cutting, layering, and arranging paper without pressure or expectations. Participants were encouraged to work intuitively, enjoy the tactile nature of the materials, and let their compositions unfold naturally.

No prior art experience was required – the workshop was designed to be accessible, relaxing, and restorative, offering a calm creative pause from everyday busyness. Participants left with their own finished collage and a renewed sense of creative confidence.
